Horse program management
Your barn. Connected.
HalterLink puts your schedule, horses, feed chart, tasks and owner updates in one shared app. Trainers, staff and horse owners all see the same plan, so nobody runs the barn from a group chat.

Sound familiar?
The plan lives on a whiteboard, three group chats and somebody's memory.
Ride times get moved by text. Feed changes go up in marker. The farrier shows up and nobody is sure who's holding Atlas. HalterLink turns all of it into one plan that everyone can see and nobody has to chase.

Schedule
Plan tomorrow before evening feed.
Plan Tomorrow takes one horse at a time. Tap it, pick the ride or lesson, and HalterLink offers only the times that work for the horse, its rider and you. Change a booking right there. Nothing goes out until you send the whole day at once, and Plan Today handles the morning of.
- Rides, lessons, vet and farrier on one schedule, with repeats that fit a barn: every other day, every 6 weeks, the 3rd Tuesday.
- Chores that come with the work: the vibration plate before every ride, ice boots after, the walker on days off, as tasks that come back on their own.
- Running late? Pick 15 minutes, shift the rest of the morning, and tell only the people it affects.

Horse owners
Keep owners informed, on their terms.
Owners get their own login and see only their own horses. They mark when they can't ride, get their ride times already confirmed, and ask you anything in their own words. You decide what goes ahead and what each owner gets to see.
- No more back-and-forth. Owners mark when they can't ride, and you plan around it.
- Can't make it after all? They tell you why and what they'd like instead: cancel, have you ride, or another time.
- Questions, not forms. Owners ask in their own words, and every chat they start includes you.
- "Willa today," first thing. Owners open the app to their horse's day: turnout, rides, the newest note and photo.

Horses
Every horse's whole story, one tap away.
Each horse has a profile with its alerts, contacts, schedule, care, feed and a searchable history. When the vet asks when Willa last had her hocks done, the answer is in your pocket.
- Care records for vet visits, vaccines, farrier, dental and bodywork, with the next one already reminded.
- A feed chart staff can trust. Notes like "Soak 20 min" right on the chart, a check for every medication dose, and an alert when one is missed.
- Documents that warn you. Coggins and health certificates flag 30 days before they expire.
- Tack & Care on every horse. Bit, boots, and what it needs before and after training, shown on every ride.

Made for the real barn day
The little things that save you an hour.
-
Your farrier doesn't need the app
Text one link for their whole day: each horse with its stall and alerts. They confirm or pick another time, and their notes land in each horse's records. The vet, dentist and anyone else you book get the same.
-
Reports from the aisle
Lost shoe, a cut, off feed: a groom reports it in a few taps, with a photo. Book the farrier straight from the report.
-
Night check, briefed
What's different tonight on one screen: night medications, feed changes, alerts and horses away. One tap says it's all good.
-
Works in the back paddock
No signal? The schedule, feed chart and horses you've opened are still there. Reports send once you're back in range.
-
Five languages
English, Spanish, Dutch, German and French. Notes and messages show in each reader's language.
-
Month-end in minutes
What each horse got this month, ready for your billing. Share every owner's summary in one step.
Trainers and barn owners
Made for the trainer and the barn.
Tell HalterLink whether you train, run a boarding barn, or both. It starts you with what you'll use most, and everything else is one tap away.
-
For trainers
Lessons, training and shows
Plan tomorrow around your clients' busy times, send confirmed ride times, run home and show days on one schedule, keep each show's entries on track, and see what to bill each owner at the end of the month.
-
For barn owners
Boarding, care and staff
Color-coded turnout by set and paddock, the feed chart and routines, tasks your grooms check off, what every horse arrived with, time off requests, and owners who see their own horse's care without calling you.
Only the barn or trainer pays. Horse owners join free and never count toward your plan.
Privacy
Everyone sees what they should, and nothing more.
-
Owners see their own horses
Only the parts you share, set for the whole barn, per owner, or per item. Owners never see other owners.
-
Staff see the horses they work with
Give each person every horse or just the ones they care for, and choose what they see and change. Phone numbers stay with you and your managers; everyone else messages in the app.
-
We look only when you say so
Need help? Let HalterLink support see your horses, schedule and tasks for 7 days, and fix what you ask. Every look and change is logged, and your messages stay private.

Questions
Good questions, straight answers.
More on the Features page. Something else? Send us a message.
Do horse owners or staff have to pay?
No. Only the barn or trainer pays, and one plan covers everyone you invite. Staff use your plan's team spots. Horse owners don't count toward any limit.
What can horse owners see?
Only their own horses, and only the parts you share: rides and training, daily care, appointments, feed, notes, documents and shows. Set it for the whole barn, change it for one owner, or hide a single item. Owners never see other owners.
What happens after the 30-day free trial?
If you added a card, your plan simply carries on, billed monthly or yearly. If not, nothing is deleted: your barn becomes read-only, so everyone can still see everything, until you pick a plan. We keep it for 12 months.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. HalterLink runs on iPhone, Android and in any web browser, all on the same account. Plan the week on a laptop, print the feed chart for the wall, and check it on your phone in the aisle.
My staff aren't big on apps. Will they use it?
They open the app to today's list and tap to mark things done. They join with a code you text them, and they only see the horses they work with.
Does my farrier or vet need the app?
No. Text them one link for their whole day. They see their horses with stalls and alerts, confirm or pick another time, say they're running late, and add notes and photos, all without an account. It works the same for the dentist, bodywork, a saddle fitter or anyone else you book.
